Hampton’s Newest Creation Makes Big Splash

It was a very proud moment for all those involved, when on December 18, 2013 Hampton Yachts’ newest addition to their line of luxury motor yachts splashed into the water for the first time, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was a day they saw their concept of a new kind of luxury yacht come to fruition.

Launched as the Hampton H830 Euro Motor Yacht, she came from the drawing board of naval architect, Juan Carlos Espinosa. The renowned naval architect also set his talented hand to designing and styling her spectacular interior.  A design some say is more reminiscent of a fine luxury condo, than a traditional yacht interior.  It’s an interior you must see in person to fully appreciate.

One look at her, and it will not come as a surprise that inspiration was drawn from a European sense of aesthetic and style. And that the Hampton H830 Euro Motor Yacht is indeed a different kind of luxury motor yacht and a marked departure from all other Hampton yachts.  She has the kind of elegance, harmony of line and grace that can bring a tear of joy to the eye of all those who appreciate good design.

Powered by twin Caterpillar C32/1600 BHP engines, she has an estimated top speed of 25+ knots and a very capable cruising speed in the low 20’s. Her length overall, including the tender lift (a very cool innovation) is 84’1” with a 19’9” beam and a draft of only 5’2”.
